All the three sacred books, the Bhagavad Gita, Quran and the Bible, talk about consciousness (soul) as the source of origin and destruction of every cell in the creation.

We are our body connected to the soul through the mind. But this mind is attracted on its way to the desires and attachments. It is the consciousness which decides our faith. If we stay connected and take consciousness-based decisions, we experience inner happiness.

No drug can act in the body without identifying a receptor. Receptors act like a lock and the medicine, the key. The very fact our body has a lock or receptor means that it also has a key (drug) for that receptor.

God never created locks for external keys to be produced by pharmaceutical companies. If at any time any of our keys is lost or destroyed, our body through consciousness has the capacity to rebuild or repair it. The only thing required for this is to stay connected to the consciousness.

The Indian movie Oh My God and then its remake Gopala Gopala show the protagonist reading all the sacred texts, which say that every action that takes place on earth is the act of the God.

1. Bhagavad Gita 4.40

अज्ञश्चाश्रद्दधानश्च संशयात्मा विनश्यति | नायं लोकोऽस्ति न परो न सुखं संशयात्मन ||

ajñaśh chāśhraddadhānaśh cha sanśhayātmā vinaśhyati;nāyaṁ loko ’sti na paro na sukhaṁ sanśhayātmanaḥ

Meaning: Those persons who possess neither faith nor knowledge (about the shastras) and who are of a doubting nature suffer a downfall. For the skeptical souls, there is no happiness either in this world or the next.

This shloka talks about the importance of sacred texts and emphasizes that we have no reason to disbelieve them.

2. Bhagavad Gita 2.56

दु:खेष्वनुद्विग्नमना: सुखेषु विगतस्पृह: | वीतरागभयक्रोध: स्थितधीर्मुनिरुच्यते ||

duḥkheṣhv-anudvigna-manāḥ sukheṣhu vigata-spṛihaḥ;vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhaḥ sthita-dhīr munir uchyate

Meaning: One whose mind remains undisturbed amidst misery, who does not crave for pleasure, and who is free from attachment, fear, and anger, is called a sage of steady wisdom.

This shloka describes that if we get angry at any time, we lose contact with the consciousness. Anger is generated from non-fulfillment of desires and attachments.

3. Bhagavad Gita 7.6

एतद्योनीनि भूतानि सर्वाणीत्युपधारय | अहं कृत्स्नस्य जगत: प्रभव: प्रलयस्तथा||

tad-yonīni bhūtāni sarvāṇītyupadhāraya;ahaṁ kṛitsnasya jagataḥ prabhavaḥ pralayas tathā

Meaning: Know that all living beings are manifested by these two energies of mine. I am the source of the entire creation, and into me it again dissolves.

It is the consciousness or the unmanifest, which decides both origin and destruction of each cell.

4. Bhagavad Gita 9.18

गतिर्भर्ता प्रभु: साक्षी निवास: शरणं सुहृत् | प्रभव: प्रलय: स्थानं निधानं बीजमव्ययम् ||

gatir bhartā prabhuḥ sākṣhī nivāsaḥ śharaṇaṁ suhṛitprabhavaḥ pralayaḥ sthānaṁ nidhānaṁ bījam avyayam

Meaning: I am the Supreme Goal of all living beings, and I am also their Sustainer, Master, Witness, Abode, Shelter, and Friend. I am the Origin, End, and Resting Place of creation; I am the Storehouse and Eternal Seed.

Here, ‘I’ means the consciousness or the unmanifest.

5. Bhagavad Gita 9.7-8

सर्वभूतानि कौन्तेय प्रकृतिं यान्ति मामिकाम् |कल्पक्षये पुनस्तानि कल्पादौ विसृजाम्यहम् || 7||

प्रकृतिं स्वामवष्टभ्य विसृजामि पुन: पुन: |भूतग्राममिमं कृत्स्नमवशं प्रकृतेर्वशात् || 8||

sarva-bhūtāni kaunteya prakṛitiṁ yānti māmikāmkalpa-kṣhaye punas tāni kalpādau visṛijāmyaham

prakṛitiṁ svām avaṣhṭabhya visṛijāmi punaḥ punaḥbhūta-grāmam imaṁ kṛitsnam avaśhaṁ prakṛiter vaśhāt

Meaning: At the end of one kalp, all living beings merge into My primordial material energy. At the beginning of the next creation, O son of Kunti, I manifest them again. Presiding over My material energy, I generate these myriad forms again and again, in accordance with the force of their natures.

It is the unmanifest who starts the origin and the destruction.

6. Bible: (54.16):See, it is I who created the blacksmith; who fans the coals into flame; and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc.

Meaning: God is the creator and the destroyer

7. Quran: 99. Surah Az-Zalzalah 1-8

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. When the earth is shaken with its quake.
2. And the earth brings out its loads.
3. And man says, “What is the matter with it?”
4. On that Day, it will tell its tales.
5. For your Lord will have inspired it.
6. On that Day, the people will emerge in droves, to be shown their works.
7. Whoever has done an atoms weight of good will see it.
8. And whoever has done an atoms weight of evil will see it.

Meaning: It’s Allah, who is both the originator and the destroyer.
