Coronavirus is one word and not corona virus. The word Corona has been used in many situations

CORONA trial

CORONA trial, involving 5011 patients (mean age 73 years) with New York Heart Association (NYHA) class II to IV  ischemic systolic HF (mean left ventricular ejection fraction [LVEF] 31%) evaluated the role of rosuvastatin 10 mg daily or placebo.

Compared with placebo, rosuvastatin reduced LDL levels (76 versus 138 mg/dL [1.96 versus 3.57 mmol/L]), and also had beneficial effects on HDL-C and triglycerides. There was no significant reduction in the primary composite outcome of death from cardiovascular causes, nonfatal myocardial infarction, or nonfatal stroke.

Anatomical part

The penis develops as a tri-tubed structure with bilateral corpora cavernosa (erectile bodies) and ventral midline urethra surrounded by corpus spongiosum. It is divided into - proximal base, pendulous middle shaft, and distal glans.

The corona of the glans and immediately proximal coronal sulcus anatomically differentiate the penile shaft from the glans penis. (UpToDate)

Corona mortis

The "corona mortis" is an anatomical variant. It represents an anastomosis between the obturator and the external iliac or inferior epigastric arteries or veins.

Corona phlebectatica is described as a circular or fan-shaped collection of nonpalpable, small intradermal veins in the regions of the medial or lateral ankles, sometimes extending distally onto the foot. It is considered by many to be an early sign of more advanced underlying venous disease. Synonyms include ankle flare or malleolar flare. While corona phlebectatica is not specifically mentioned in the current CEAP classification, it is advocated by some for inclusion in future revisions of CEAP.

Corona radiata

Most lacunes occur in the basal ganglia (putamen, globus pallidus, thalamus, caudate), subcortical white matter (internal capsule and corona radiata), and pons.

Corona Beer

The Corona brand is one of the top-selling beers worldwide.

COROnary artery: the name is derived from ‘corona’ meaning ‘crown’.

Corona, meaning crown in Latin derived from Ancient Greek word korōnè, “garland, wreath” refers to an aura of plasma surrounding the Sun and other stars. The Suns corona extends millions of kilometres into outer space and is easily seen during a total solar eclipse, but it is also observable with a coronagraph.

Corona is a cross-platform framework ideal for rapidly creating apps and games for mobile devices and desktop systems.
