The COVID-19 infection rate for healthcare workers in a hospital in Wuhan, China, was found to be higher among non-frontline healthcare workers compared to frontline healthcare workers, noted researchers.

Among healthcare workers in fever clinics, the infection rate was estimated as 0.55%, while the rate among non-frontline workers caring for patients who did not meet the criteria for COVID-19 was 1.65%, reported researchers in JAMA Network Open.
