On Friday, Indias COVID-19 cases count had crossed 1.65 lakh after a record 7,466 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. The death count also reached 4,706 with death of 175 people due to the coronavirus disease.

Health Ministry said that the total number of cases has reached 1, 65,799 on Friday. The number of active COVID-19 cases is 89,987 whereas 71,105 people have been recovered and only one patient has migrated.

Maharashtra still remains the worst affected state of COVID-19 with 59,546 cases. Out of them 18,616 people are cured and discharged and almost 1,982 have died due to the coronavirus.

Tamil Nadu recorded 874 fresh cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases to 20,246. Nine deaths were reported, taking the death toll in the state to 154.

Delhi reported 1,106 news cases, taking the total to 17,386 cases yesterday. Out of these, 7,846 people are recovered and death count has reached 398.

Gujarat has a total of 15,562 cases of coronavirus, out of which 8,003 people have been cured and discharged but 960 people have died due to the disease.

Uttar Pradesh has reported 218 fresh cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. There are almost 2,842 active cases and 4,244 people have been cured in the state.

Madhya Pradesh has reported a total number of 7,453 COVID-19 cases, out of which 4,050 have been cured and discharged whereas 321 people have died due to the disease.

Bihar has recorded a total number of 3,296 coronavirus cases, out of which 1,211 have been cured and discharged with 15 deaths.

Rajasthan reported 2 deaths and 91 new COVID-19 cases on Friday. The total tally in the state has reached 8,158, as per the state Health Department. The death count in the state has risen to 182.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that 62 fresh coronavirus cases and one death was reported in the state. The total number of confirmed cases in the state has reached 1,150.

Karnataka has reported 248 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday and the total number of confirmed cases in the state has reached to 2,781. 48 deaths has been recorded due to the disease.

Odisha reported 63 new COVID-19 cases taking the total count to 1,723. Official said that two COVID-19 positive patients died but due to some other ailments. At present, there are 827 active cases in the state. Whereas 887 patients have recovered. 7 deaths have been reported in the state due to the infection.

Andhra Pradesh reported 33 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total count to 2,874. Currently, there are 777 active cases with 60 deaths.

Himachal Pradesh reported 291 new cases for COVID-19. At present, there are 201 active cases and 81 cases have recovered with four people have migrated out of the state and 5 deaths reported.

Uttarakhand reported 102 fresh cases of coronavirus, taking the total number in the state to 602. The number of active cases is 505, as per the state control room for coronavirus.

Jammu and Kashmir also reported 128 fresh cases, which includes 36 from Jammu and 92 from Kashmir. One death was reported on Friday. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the union territory is 2,164.

Assam reported 30 new cases of coronavirus, taking the total count of cases to 910. Currently, there are 800 active cases.
