2018 ADA standards of care recommend BP home monitoring for hypertensive patients with diabetes

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) 2018 Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes recommend that all hypertensive patients with diabetes should also monitor their blood pressure at home to identify white coat hypertension, masked hypertension, or other discrepancies between office and home blood pressure, and also to improve adherence to medication.
