More than 1.77 lakh individuals were vaccinated against COVID-19 on the fourth day of the vaccination drive in the country, stated the Union Health Ministry. The total number of individuals who have been vaccinated against coronavirus thus far stands at 6.31 lakh.

According to a statement from the ministry, the cumulative number of healthcare workers that have received vaccination against COVID-19 reached 6,31,417 till 6 PM on Tuesday across 11,660 sessions. Overall, 3,800 sessions were held till 6 PM on Tuesday. On the previous day, the Center had said that 580 cases of adverse reactions were noted and seven people were hospitalized. On Tuesday, the number of adverse reactions was not reported, though it was stated that nine people have been hospitalized following vaccination since the drive started on January 16… (NDTV, January 19, 2021)
