India’s tally of daily COVID-19 cases passed the 15,000-mark after a gap of three days, while daily deaths continued to remain below 200 for the 7th consecutive day on Wednesday.

Overall, 151 deaths were reported with the cumulative toll standing at 1,52,853. The country recorded 15,290 new COVID-19 infections, taking the cumulative caseload to 10,611,738. New infections declined by around 1800 compared to last Wednesday, when nearly 17,000 cases were reported. Kerala tops the chart among the states in daily infections with 6,815 new cases reported. Recovery surpassed new infections with 7,364 patients getting discharged from hospitals.
