Sputnik V, the Russian vaccine against COVID-19, will likely be rolled out in India under emergency use authorization (EUA) in March, stated a top official of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.

Deepak Sapra, CEO, API & Pharmaceutical Services, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, mentioned that the Phase III trial is in progress and 70% of the subject dosing for Phase III is already complete. The dosing is expected to complete by February. This will be followed by compiling the data and submitting the application for EUA to the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) in March.
