A young girl saw a colorfulrainbow after a thunderstorm. She quickly called her mother to look out thewindow and see it. Looking at the beautiful rainbow, the mother was amazed athow its beauty could still elate her middle-aged heart. She recalled one of thevery first times she ever saw a rainbow.

She was sitting in the housefor an hour waiting for the rain to stop so she could go out and play. It wasraining incessantly and she thought it would never end. When it stopped, sheran outside and saw a glorious rainbow curving across the sky. She had heard ofthe old legend of leprechauns hiding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Shelooked for the spot where the rainbow was touching the ground in the fardistance. She ran down the railroad tracks near her house to look for thetreasure. The quicker she ran, the more the rainbow began to fade. She wasrunning as fast as she possibly could, but it was too late. The rainbow and itspot of gold were gone.

But that wasn’t the last timeshe chased after false treasure. Over the years, she found herself runningafter fame, success, money, and even relationships that she thought would bringher happiness. But, none of them did. It took a long time for her to find thetrue treasure - the treasure is the love of God and it is free to all.

As she welcomed this treasureinto her heart, soul, and life and shared it with others, she realized that themore love she gave away, the more love she had within her.

God loves us so much. He isready to light up our life with the rainbow of His love. We only have to AcceptHis treasure with joy, share it with everyone, and grow richer every day.
