One year after the novel coronavirus was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, 1 in 10 individuals in the US are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, at least 33.9 million Americans have either received a one-dose or two-dose vaccine. However, one vaccine expert is concerned that as cases decline and summers approach, many people will refrain from getting the vaccination.
