World Hemophilia Day, an initiative of the World Federation of Hemophilia, is celebrated every year on April 17. It aims to raise awareness about hemophilia as well as other inherited bleeding disorders. 

The theme of the World Hemophilia Day this year is “Adapting to change: sustaining care in a new world”. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on people with a bleeding disorder, and this objective in the current times becomes all the more important. The world has undergone a significant change over the past one year, but one thing that hasn’t changed is that we are still in this together.
