India is the fastest country in the world to administer 17 crore doses in a span of 114 days, stated Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, and urged states to focus on the second dose vaccinations first.

He also urged states to make sure that the healthcare and frontline workers are fully vaccinated, stressing that vaccination is a key weapon in the fight against coronavirus.
