Sputnik V Vaccine to Be Rolled Out at ₹ 1,195 at Apollo Hospitals

Apollo Group of Hospitals has confirmed that it will begin the rollout of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V, across its hospitals in the country starting second week of June. The vaccine is estimated to cost of ₹ 1,195 per dose.

An Apollo Group official said that they will charge ₹ 995 for the vaccine and ₹ 200 as administration charges.

India is heading towards vaccine sufficiency as immunization with Sputnik V was started in the country earlier this month. India and Russia plan to manufacture some 35-40 million doses every month starting from August or September... (NDTV – ANI, May 28, 2021)
