The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has suggested to carry out a clinical trial for randomized evaluation of COVID-19 therapy with the University of Oxford. An expression of intent for participation in the trial has also been sought from hospitals. 

The trial, called India-UK RECOVERY (Randomised Evaluation of COVID-19 therapy), will be a multi-center, adaptive platform trial involving COVID patients. An expression of intent has been solicited from institutions or hospitals that have the facilities and capacity to be a part of the clinical trial, wherein patients admitted in their hospitals will be enrolled.
