The capital of India has, to date, reported a total of 2708 dengue cases. Out of the 1,171 dengue cases reported in the previous week, 394 were reported from the north, 404 from the south, and 144 from the east. The remaining cases were reported from other areas like under New Delhi Municipal Council, Delhi Cantonment, and Railways. A combined report released by South Delhi Municipal Corporation reported three more deaths, which makes the official number of confirmed death nine.

The corporations are carrying out fumigation drives, awareness campaigns, and household surveys to control the outbreak. Legal notices are being issued to houses and building owners where mosquitogenic conditions are being detected. The south corporation has also launched a special three-day drive against mosquitoes from November 5. A team of domestic breeding checkers and field workers are being sent, especially in the hotspot areas, to kill the infected mosquito and create awareness among the residents about the precautions to be taken.
