Doctors from the Chhattisgarh’s Indian Medical Association (IMA), Dr. Lalit Shah, Dr. Mahesh Sinha, Dr. Rakesh, Dr. Asha Jain, Dr. Anil Gupta, and others have filed an FIR  in Civil Lines police station against a self-proclaimed doctor Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury. They demanded a ban for his internet channels and books claiming unscientific reasoning of treating kidney-related and other diseases. According to the IMA doctors currently, Chowdhary’s internet platforms promote videos that claim to cure serious kidney diseases and assure that patients can get rid of dialysis treatments after following his recommendations.

Also, in the last few days, Biswaroop claimed himself as an expert in many other diseases on various social media platforms and was promoting a book 360 degree and unproven medical treatment on his www.biswaroop.com.

The IMA doctors further stated that Chowdhary’s videos were misleading and would deteriorate the health of patients by discontinuing dialysis and hamper the health of kidney patients across the country.
