U.S. Issues 'Do Not Travel' Advisory for Germany, Denmark

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State Department have advised against travel to Germany and Denmark owing to a rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in these countries.

The CDC changed its travel recommendation to ‘Level Four: Very High’ for the two countries, stating that Americans should avoid traveling there. The State Department also issued ‘Do Not Travel’ advisories for both the European countries.

The CDC has presently listed around 75 places at Level Four, with several European countries on the list, such as Austria, Britain, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Greece, Romania, Ireland and the Czech Republic.
