On Wednesday, the capital reported 65 COVID-19 cases, which is the highest in over 100 days and one fresh fatality. Three deaths due to the viral disease have been reported in December, 7 in November, 4 in October and 5 in September.

The officials said on a concerning note that the positivity rate was increasing gradually and with the new cases, the COVID infection tally in Delhi has reached to 14,41, 514. 404 were active cases, out of which 160 were in home isolation and 179 patients were hospitalized. A senior doctor from LokNayak hospital said that next few weeks were very crucial due to the new variant which was already detected n the city.
