Physical activity improves survival in older adults with heart disease
Older adults with heart disease who regularly exercised, even a little bit, were 36% less likely to die compared to people who were inactive, as demonstrated in a new study published online March 5, 2018 in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. No mortality risk reductions associated with weight loss were observed.
