A new treatment rapidly improves hot flashes
The oral neurokinin 3 receptor (NK3R) antagonist, MLE4901, rapidly relieved vasomotor symptoms, in particular flashes by 72% by day 3 of treatment vs baseline symptoms and a 51% improvement in frequency with the oral treatment compared with those on placebo. These findings were published March 12, 2018 in the journal Menopause.
