Individuals with early-onset of diabetes are at higher risk of death

People who were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes before the age of 40 years are almost two-and-a-half times more likely to die early compared to those diagnosed after 60, according to a new research presented at the Diabetes UK Professional Conference (DUKPC) in London.
