Sialendoscopy with irrigation of the major salivary glands can enhance salivary flow and reduce xerostomia up to 6 months in patients with Sjogrens syndrome, according to the results of a randomized trial reported online February 23, 2018 in Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases.
