Some patients on replacement thyroid hormone (LT4 or levothyroxine) may have more comorbidities and lower quality of life than those who do not take the hormone, a large population-based study presented March 20, 2018 at ENDO 2018, the 100th annual meeting of the Endocrine Society in Chicago, Illinois. These patients continue to experience symptoms and disturbed well-being.
