Study links chronic fatigue syndrome to low T3 syndrome

A study published March 20, 2018 in Frontiers in Endocrinology has shown a higher prevalence of “low T3 syndrome” or “non-thyroidal illness syndrome” in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) with low TT3 and FT3 together with normal/high-normal FT4 and normal TSH.
