The US Food and Drug Administrations (FDAs) Antimicrobial Drugs Advisory Committee has recommended plazomicin by 15 votes to one for complicated urinary tract infections (cUTIs) but not for bloodstream infections (BSIs) in adults with limited or no treatment options.
