Frailty best predicts complications post-adrenalectomy
More than older age, frailty was more strongly associated with a higher rate of 30-day postoperative complications among patients undergoing adrenalectomy, according to a study reported July 3, 2018 in JAMA Surgery. Patients who were most frail had seven times greater chances of developing a postoperative complication.
