Treatment with ustekinumab may be associated with noninfectious pneumonia, according to a report by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) published in JAMA Dermatology, online Dec. 12, 2018.

The drug was approved in 2009 for treating psoriasis-related conditions, and seven years later Crohns disease was added to its indications.
