Early-onset Sjogrens syndrome has poor prognosis
People with early-onset (age ≤35 years) primary Sjögrens syndrome may have more severe disease that worsens over time, according to a study published online Dec. 17, 2018 in Rheumatology. They had a higher frequency of hypergammaglobulinaemia, RF positivity, low C3 level, low C4 level and autoantibodies.
