  • Highlights: First time showed minimalist techniques with minimal access sites: one femoral puncture and one radial and no separate pacing lead: Conscious sedation, local anesthesia; Pacing through LV wire; Radial approach for pigtail; Percutaneous vascular closure; Early/next day discharge; Procedure highlighted on patient section, CT analysis with importance to area derived diameter, transcatheter valve selection and approach, procedure planning followed by step by step approach
  • Dr Sengottuvelu elegantly demonstrated simplified approach of performing “Less invasive” or “Minimalist TAVI” explaining each procedural step with tips and tricks.
  • The patient was 72 years old male with severe aortic stenosis with tricuspid valve.
