  • Marked expansion in the dialysis and Tx facilities.
  • Major growth in scientific contributions and publications. More participation in the nephrology conferences with support from ISN and other bodies.
  • Huge expansion of dialysis centers occurring but no regulatory authority-water purity, adequacy.
  • Difficult to meet the demand and supply but public participation in organ donation programs may help.

  • Angio-invasive infections as cause of increased renal complications and resulting from renal disease CKD and Tx with associated morbidity and mortality.
  • Submitted dissertation entitled “Clinico-pathological correlations in Lupus Nephritis” to National Board of Examinations for diplomate NB (Nephrology), August 1983.
