With increasing shootout incidents in the US, another news of a hospital campus shooting in Oklahoma has come to the forefront. According to an earlier Facebook post from the Tulsa Police Department, Authorities responded to a call about a man who was armed at the St. Francis Hospital campus. Before this, a mass shooting incident took place at Robb Elementary School in Texas.    

US president Joe Biden has sought advice from New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for controlling the gun violence in the United States. President Biden referred to the Christchurch incident, in 2019 that prompted the New Zealand government to institute a ban on military-style guns including a gun buy-back law.
