After a complaint filed by Dr. Rohan Lakkad, the cyber-crime police of Junagadh arrested both Mr. Satish and his wife on February 19. The couple duped the Surat-based doctor of Rs 32 lakh in the lure of getting admission in the PG course in a medical college.

According to the complaint, Dr. Rohan has filled out an online form to appear in the NEET-PG exam. However, the doctor got a call from a man named Vishal Singh, who promised to help him clear NEET. Vishal Singh then started demanding money for various reasons; tallying up to Rs 32 lakh that went into the account of the Surat Couple stated police officer, RV Vaja. He added that the crooks hacked the doctor’s computer and extracted all the details that he filled in the online form. He further stated that this group has been booked in the past for duping doctors with the same modus Operandi in other cities.
