In Bengaluru, a quack that was allegedly drawing a monthly salary of Rs 46,000 per month since the past 5 months has gone missing. He was using the identity of Dr Vikas Patel to get the job of district health officer in Gadag. He was also appointed as doctor for the Bannikoppa Primary Health Centre (PHC) of Shirahatti taluk. The original Dr Vikas Patil is pursuing higher studies in medicine.

This is another example of how quacks are freely practicing in this country without any proper checks and why the Government and Medical Associations must come down hard on the people caught.
