  1. Renal insufficiency without significant proteinuria.
  2. Proteinuria in the absence of diabetic retinopathy.
  3. Hematuria with RBC casts.
  4. Rapid decline of GFR.
  5. Rapid development of nephrotic syndrome.
  6. No proteinuria in previous report; significant protenuria now.
  7. Absence of hypertension.
  8. Small size or asymmetrical kidneys on USG (or symmetrical).
