Dr RR Singh, Jhansi    27 November 2018

Incidence of diabetes is increasing day by day in the Indian population. Regular exercise, good sleep for 6-7 hr, weight in limits, diet control, healthy foods and avoidance of excess of alcohol are advocated, along with regular check-up for random blood sugar to detect the disease at an early stage. Once diagnosed as diabetic, patient’s blood sugar, lipids and BP must be under control and he needs regular follow-up with consulting physician, diabetologist or endocrinologist. Being Chairman (Elect) RSSDI, UP-Chapter, I request you all to fight together with this alarming situation.
