  • Adult minimal change disease (MCD) presents with nephrotic syndrome (NS).
  • Steroid responsiveness is seen in 80% of the cases (1 mg/kg).
  • Pulse steroids followed by TAC or MM-Na with LD steroids are steroid limiting options in adult MCD.
  • A relapsing disease is seen in one-third-50% cases.
  • Rituximab is cost-effective and has a favorable adverse effect profile in managing steroid-dependent (SD) or frequently relapsing (FR) disease.
  • Steroid-resistant MCD is unsampled non-MCD disease.
