Quitting daily aspirin therapy may increase risk of second heart attack

Stopping long term low dose aspirin therapy may increase the risk of suffering a cardiovascular event according to new research published September 25 2017 in the journal Circulation. Compared to those who continued patients who stopped aspirin had a 37 higher rate of cardiovascular events.
