Changes in truncal android fat affect arterial stiffness and endothelial function independent of traditional risk factors suggests a study published September 1 2017 in the Journal of Clinical Lipidology. Android fat remained an independent predictor of arterial stiffness indices including pulse wave velocity augmentation index and subendocardial viability ratio.
