As per the findings of a study presented November 4 2017 at Kidney Week 2017 American Society of Nephrology Annual Meeting in New Orleans intravenous administration of a contrast agent during angiography is safer and faster than intra arterial administration in patients with suspected coronary artery disease CAD .
