USPSTF recommends PrEP to persons at high risk of HIV infection
The US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends HIV screening in adults and children, and well as in pregnant women, and now recommends that clinicians offer preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) with effective antiretroviral therapy to persons at high risk for acquiring HIV infection (A recommendation). The updated guidance was published online June 11, 2019 in JAMA.
