AHA/ACC/HRS guideline on management of ventricular arrhythmias

A new guideline for treatment of patients with ventricular arrhythmias and the prevention of sudden cardiac death has been jointly released by the American Heart Association AHA American College of Cardiology ACC and Heart Rhythm Society HRS . The guidelines are published online October 30 2017 in Circulation. The guideline includes indications for implantable cardioverter defibrillators ICDs for the treatment of ventricular arrhythmias and prevention of sudden cardiac death. And also provide guidance on the use of ICDs in patients with non ischemic cardiomyopathy.
