Early hypotension following out of hospital cardiac arrest in children reduces chances of survival

Findings of a post hoc secondary analysis of the Therapeutic Hypothermia After Pediatric Cardiac Arrest (THAPCA) trial suggests poor prognosis for children who had hypotension in the first 6 hours after temperature intervention for resuscitation for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. The study is published online December 11, 2017 in JAMA Pediatrics.
