England is set to start the next phase of its COVID-19 vaccination program, where it will offer doses to people aged 70 and above and those considered clinically extremely vulnerable to the coronavirus.

Until now, the vaccination program had focused on people aged 80 years and older as well as the frontline health and care staff. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Sunday that it was a significant milestone in the vaccination program as they opened it up to millions more people who are most at risk from COVID-19.
