Delhi to trace 30 contacts of every person found positive for COVID

As Delhi deals with a spike in COVID-19 cases, authorities have resorted to aggressive measures to check the spread of the virus. At least 30 contacts of those who are found positive for COVID-19 will be traced and tested.

The containment strategy in the national capital continues to be similar and the number of zones has increased. An official from the south district stated that the strategy of tracing at least 30 contacts of those who test positive is now being followed, which was earlier at around 20. The official further stated that the focus is also on vaccination and the authorities are working to mobilize as many individuals for vaccination as possible. District magistrate North West stated that the North West district is carrying out nearly 5,000 RT-PCR tests every day.
