Patients with severe psoriasis at risk of developing type 2 diabetes

Patients with severe psoriasis covering more than 10% of their body surface area (BSA) were at significantly greater risk of developing type 2 diabetes (T2DM) over a period of 4 years compared with those without psoriasis, according to a study published in the February 2018 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
