The unique initiative of eGlobaldoctors forum is now preparing to link Indian doctors overseas with those in India, and ultimately with patients in need of expert assistance. This follows the pandemic′s demonstration of the power of technology in connecting with patients around the world.

During the pandemic, a group of doctors from the US and the UK communicated with Indian patients via mobile phones and video technological tools, providing them with medical guidance and assistance when they needed it most. They now intend to broaden that network by including highly educated professionals and bringing them together on a single platform to connect with any patient anywhere in the world.

The Atlanta-based cardiologist Srini Gangasani said that the organization has special features such as offering health passports so that members can take their medical information with them wherever they go. He took the initiative to connect patients with specialists around the world during the pandemic.

According to orthopaedic surgeon G. Srinivas of London several secondary opinions including multi-disciplinary streams, consultations are available,. Internal medicine, cardiology, orthopaedics, oncology, paediatrics, psychiatry, and other disciplines are among them. Response times range from one to three days, and they will take two to three hours for support.

Chairman of the Telangana State Medical Council Dr. Rajalingam applauded the initiative and welcomed eGlobaldoctors′ growth into India. He also discussed the most recent modifications to Telangana′s CME criteria for licence renewal. Several notable doctors also appreciated the initiative.
