Results of a systematic review and meta-analysis of more than 2000 patients show a 26% prevalence of new-onset non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in patients who have undergone a liver transplant compared to the 22% prevalence in the general population. These findings are published in the journal Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics.
