High preconception BP increases risk of pregnancy loss

Increased preconception and early-pregnancy blood pressure (BP) is associated with an increased risk for recurrent pregnancy loss in young healthy women, suggests a study published online April 2, 2018 in the journal Hypertension. The risk increased 18% per 10 mm Hg increase in diastolic blood pressure and 17% per 10 mm Hg increase in mean arterial pressure.
