Fluctuating body weight increases the risk of acute cardiovascular events like heart attack (by 99%), stroke (by 92%) and death (by 82%) in patients with type 2 diabetes, according to a study presented May 8, 2018 at the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal.
