SOS budesonide+formoterol improves symptom control in mild asthma

A study published May 17, 2018 in the New England Journal of Medicine found that while SOS budesonide (inhaled corticosteroid)-formoterol (β2-agonist) provided superior control of symptoms in patients with mild asthma as compared to as-needed terbutaline, it was inferior to budesonide maintenance therapy.
